This event, hosted by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), will focus on procurement opportunities announced in the FY2010 Procurement Forecast published on October 1st, 2009 with an emphasis on Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). This outreach event will provide an opportunity for SDVOSBs and other small businesses to learn about DOT procurement opportunities. You will also have to opportunity to network with modal small business specialists, acquisition professionals, technical program managers, SBA Procurement Center Representatives (PCR), and local area Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) managers.

Scheduled speakers to include US Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, as well as Iraq veteran and Congressman Patrick Murphy (PA-8).

Information will be provided on the major DOT operating administrations and their forecasts.

The Vendor Day will begin promptly at 9:00 am and conclude at 1:00 pm, and will take place at:

Capacity is limited and participants must be pre-registered. For security purposes, all participants must present a picture I.D. on the day of the event.

Please note that due to the large number of registrants, we suggest that you arrive early enough (45 to 60 minutes) to ensure that you can make it through the security check in time to participate in all of the sessions which begin at 9:00 am.
